Exciting news! Statue Award Winners are Gracing Covers This Month!

Leslie Odom, Jr. (2002 Theater) and Camille A. Brown (2006 Choreography), the two 2016 Princess Grace Statue Award recipients, are reuniting on newsstands!

Leslie has just published his first book. “Failing Up: How to Take Risks, Aim Higher, and Never Stop Learning”, is a beautiful memoir/self-help guide that features stories from Leslie’s personal life, which includes anecdotes about his Tony Award-winning role as Aaron Burr in “Hamilton”, how hard he’s worked to get where he is today, and includes ideas on how one can improve their own life and achieve goals. Find out if he’s touring near you here, and catch him on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” on Tuesday, March 27.

Choreographer Camille graces Dance Magazine’s April issue, which features Camille’s incredibly moving story about how hard work, dedication and talent has led her to achieving her career dreams. The magazine writes, “Along the lines of television producer Shonda Rhimes and film director Ava DuVernay, Brown is a part of a cultural movement of black female artists who are redefining how African-American stories are told: with humanity, sensitivity, depth and intellectual sophistication.” Read the full story here.
