A native of New York, Mikaela Kelly began her dance training at Coupé Theater Studio before joining the pre-professional division of American Ballet Theatre’s Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School in 2009. An ABT Junior Council Scholar and National Training Scholar, she performed at the Metropolitan Opera House, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and The Kennedy Center. Certified in ABT's National Training Curriculum, Mikaela has taught classes at The JKO School, Coupé Theatre Studio, and was on the faculty of the FRESH Summer Dance Intensive in Canada. After completing her training at the JKO School in 2014, Mikaela joined The Juilliard School’s BFA program, where she is currently in her fourth year. She has performed works by many choreographers including Nacho Duato, Aszure Barton, George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Paul Taylor, Merce Cunningham, Pam Tanowitz, José Limón, and Alexi Ratmansky.
