Langston Sanchez

Langston Sanchez is a 21 year old Black filmmaker and installation artist from Harlem. Langston is a 2013 Tribeca Film Fellow and has shown work at the Tribeca Film Festival, Maysles Documentary Center, the Five College Film Festival, and Hampshire College’s Magic Board. He has also completed commissioned work for WNET and the Mayor’s Office of New York City. Langston has been heavily involved in youth media education since 2013 and has organized with Decolonize Media Collective for the past three years. Langston's most recent works are a short documentary One Night In Ferguson and an interactive multimedia project that highlights the intersection of Blackness and surveillance. Langston is expected to graduate from Hampshire College in May of 2017.
