Huay-Bing Law is a native Texan currently pursuing an MFA in Film Production at UT-Austin. His  narrative and documentary shorts have picked up awards at dozens of festivals around the US, including the Spike Lee Student Filmmaker Award (Denver Film Festival), AT&T Student Film Award (CAAMFest), Best Documentary Short (SDAFF), Best Narrative Short (New Orleans Film Festival), Audience Award Winner (Austin Film Festival), as well as a Student Academy Award nomination. Huay’s work aims to bring more representation to Asian-American voices in film.
