Geoffrey Alan Rhodes is a writer, artist, and film maker. His work across disciplines seeks to create experiences that challenge the borders between the real and the virtual, the cinematic and the actual, fine art and popular experience. For the past fifteen years, Rhodes has made music, films, gallery video installations, and new media publications that have shown at the Tribecca, Sarajevo, and Moscow International Film Festivals, the European Media Arts Festival, and many others. His work has been sponsored by the Princess Grace Foundation, the New York Council for the Humanities and the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Fulbright Foundation. He is currently a member of the full-time faculty in the Department of Visual Communication Design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
