Erick Msumanje received his BFA degree at Hampshire College with a focus in filmmaking and african studies. As a filmmaker, he uses ahybrid form of storytelling that combines visual poetry, expressive digital cinematography, disciplined performances, and immersive soundscapes. Currently, he is a San Diego Fellow pursuing his MFA at UCSD's visual arts program.
