Initial PGF Award: Film Honorarium, 2007
Josh Arnoudse was raised in Lexington, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston otherwise known as the Birthplace of American Liberty. In May 2008 he received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. A passionate performer since childhood, Josh likes to straddle the border between comedy and tragedy in his work, and takes pleasure in subverting viewer expectations without alienating anybody. His experiences in live theater and with a four-person long-form improv troupe, Tabula Rasa, greatly influenced the making of his thesis film, a narrative clown piece entitled "No Fortunate One." His proudest accomplishments include learning to speak fluent French & driving a stick shift.
