FAITH PILGER was a 2005 recipient of a Princess Grace Foundation Special Project Grant for her most recent production , GRIMM , presented at The Duke on 42nd Street Theater, NYC, 2006. She is a graduate of the Juilliard School (BFA, 1995) where she was honored with a Princess Grace Dance Award in 1994. Faith has been performing, choreographing, producing and curating work nationally and internationally for over ten years. Recent collaborations include choreography with dancer Otis Cook (Pilobolus) and with music/club groups SaReel Project, Musicians in Masques, Gen Arts and Pcult. Faith has produced her own solo productions, presented in NYC and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. In NYC she curated and hosted several long-running variety shows and founded Ultraviolet Performance Collective and Active Cultures Dance Group (ACDG) for which she received a grant from The Juilliard School to support a tri-city tour in Taiwan. Faith established her current company, Fearliss Productions, in 2005. She has been employed as a freelance dancer with David Dorfman Dance, Rebecca Stenn Company, Jordana Toback / POON, Pilobolus Dance Theater, The Metropolitan Opera Ballet, Die Audio Gruppe, Mark Morris Dance Group, Nicole Berger Dance, Joe Alter Dance Group, Chase Dance Theater, Attacktheatre, Thinkdance and Stanley Love Performance Group. Faith will appear in Julie Taymor’s film, Across the Universe, choreographed by Danny Ezralow, to be released in 2007. She will also appear in the independent film, The River Copsa Mica, filmed in 2006. As a teacher, Faith has been employed by Pilobolus Institute, Lincoln Center Theater, The New School, Rebecca Stenn Company, Chase Dance Theater and Joe Alter Dance Group. She is also a devoted personal trainer, certified by ACE and The Kane School (Pilates.)
