Cody Stokes is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. In 2001, while attending high school, Cody wrote and directed a video that won a national contest held by Tommy Hilfiger, enabling him to buy his first camera. Cody attends Webster University where he is completing his B.A. in independent film production and management, a self designed major. Cody has written and directed five short films. In addition, he has written a feature length screenplay, two one act plays, one of which has been produced at Webster University, and is currently writing and illustrating a children’s book. For his senior thesis, The Loneliest Place on Earth, Cody will be traveling to Ghana to work with Ghanaian filmmakers in Accra.
